KJ’s First Birthday – Detroit, MI

We had the pleasure of capturing photos to celebrate Karter turning 1.  Karter is a bundle of Joy and according to his parents, Keynon & Ruquel, he always keeps them on their toes.  He took his first steps back on March 9th and has been on the go ever since.

 

KJ’s favorite toy is his red stuffed Elmo.  He also loves to watch Sesame Street, Pepa Pig, and Paw Patrol.

He doesn’t have a favorite food, he just loves food!  He does however have a special place for his Grandmother’s pinto beans and corn bread.

Karter’s first words were “Mama” and “bye bye”, and he is picking up new words daily.  He keeps his parents on their toes and definitely keeps them laughing at all of his silliness.  KJ loves music and will dance to just about anything.

We asked Keynon & Ruquel how KJ has impacted their lives over the last year, and here’s what they told us:

“Our lives have definitely changed for the better in this last year. Karter is a tremendous blessing to our family. He is our miracle baby in which God handpicked especially for us. We thank God for him daily and don’t take this responsibility lightly. No matter how old he gets, he will always be our little sonshine”
